I'm due to have an eye test and specsavers have set up a new shop in my town. Has anyone had any experience with these? I do have an eye condition so I want to be sure they are good
Thanx

Hi Lady_K, we use specsavers whenever our glasses need changing and so far we haven't had any troubles with them. I'm mildly diabetic and they picked it up on the eyetest, and were very good.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

I've been to specsavers for my eye test, to get my glasses, and recently to start on contact lenses. Haven't had any problems with their service so far.0

I have regularly used Specsavers.
I dabble occasionally with others and special offers,b ut Spe savers come out on top with all the family.0 -
They screwed up big time with my specs. Eventually though, I got 50% off. Satisfaction in the end!0

just been today and was very happy with them, dil, who used to work with optical express said to get pentax lenses on the £39 specs was a good buy0

I used to go to boots opticians but changed to Specsavers. I've always found them to be very thorough. I get both glasses and contact lenses.
There was one time when they promised me that my contact lenses would be ready but they hadn't even been ordered! I wasn't able to go back another day because of work and as I'd now run out of lenses a member of staff brought my lenses to my work place
I was very pleased.
I'd definately recommend specsavers.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

I've had no problems with the eye test, takes me about 15 mins if that. I've stopped buying from there though after finding glassesdirect. I was initially apprehensive, but I can't tell the difference between my specs that cost £17.50 and the ones that cost me £150. I love Specsavers - would reccomend highly.
Don't be tempted by D&A.. Incorrect prescription and a disinterested 'not our problem' attitude to concerns or problem"This is a forum - not a support group. We do not "owe" anyone unconditional acceptance of their opinions."0 -
Yes I've heard many complaints about D&A I wouldn't even have a test there if it was freeThanx

I've been to other opticians in the past but have always gone back to Specsavers. Most of my family use them too; can't fault them.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0
