Just been into the B&Q Hedge-End, and they have a clearance on bedroom furniture - was told this is nationwide.
3 Drawer chest - Maple and Pine style - reduced to £15.
2 Door wardrobes - same styles - reduced to £38
2 Drawer chest - same styles - reduced to £15
Many more designs and styles at heavily discounted prices, but you'll have to quick as i'm sure they won't last long at these prices.
I believe the wardrobe was originally priced at £80 aprox and 3 drawer chest aprox £60 - be warned as whilst the above were on a further discount, some styles were still at original discount i.e 6 drawer tall chest was still £40.

Im in the process of re-decorating my spare room at mo so will pop along to the Newbury one and see what I can find there, only need some cheap storage items so this could be just in time, thanks.0

Are they in a flatpack, with an orange B&Q on the box that you have to build as my sister bought 2 bed side lockers a few days ago. When she got home she noticed it did say on the box drawer bases and backing excluded, hopefully its not the same ones, its the first time I've seen furniture sold like this. She is going to take them back0

Yes - Flatpacked with orange logo, but does include everything. So not the same ones.
The two 3 drawer chests we purchased for £15 each are fantastic - took 1 hour to assemble the first - 40mins to assemble the 2nd. All you need extra is a 'philips' screwdriver. The maple effect looks really good, and they have a shiny venner top.0 -
Phew! I was worried I wasnt going to get backings etc then!
I bought mine yesterday, although I went for the 'Beech' look (although it's quite far from beech!)
Ordered a wardrobe and two 3 drawer chests. Should hopefully brighten up my bedroom, and finally everything will match
I want to give thanks to the OP, but IE wont let me for some reason. But thanks!!0 -
Actually, just done it! Wayhey!
Oh, and for people in Swindon, there's only one wardrobe left in each colour.0 -

Well I visited the Newbury store last night and they are packed with it, they have all display models made up and look very good actually, especially considering the price of them!! One wardrobe had a mirror on the door and a makeup desk attached with mirrors, one for the Mrs I think, looked quite fancy actually, quite a wide variety of units including different colour woods, beach, oak etc.
I can say although I havent made my purchase yet this weekend I certainly will be, nice computer desks too, so thanks op, nice spy!!! :T0 -

I went to B&Q today, and saw these boxes you have quoted. The reason it states on the box drawer bases and backing excluded, is that this is the solid pine range and it's a disclaimer as the drawer bases and backing are ply!
Rest assured the drawer bases and backing are included.0 -

Thats no problem at all, it's nice knowing that we can find a bargain for use of others, after all the bargains others have found for us.
Since finding this site, we too have been able to afford things that otherwise we wouldn't have been able to purchase.
We wish you many happy hours in bedroom... putting together your new furniture x x x0 -

In my B&Q the above prices were for cheap-looking flatpack made from chipboard & with fake "wood" veneer. Are those the ones on offer elsewhere, or is the sale in Bristol starting late??
Did see some nice SOLID pine units (also flatpack) but they were a lot more expensive (worth it though).0
