Having had a slight problem with our sofa delivery (won't go in to details) I would like to say how fantastically Furniture Village (Exeter) handled our problem.

The salesman who we originally dealt with and his Manager could not have been better in their after sales service.

I too had great customer service after an initial problem over delivery from their Orpington branch.

I needed a new sofabed urgently, and when it turned out that it would take about eight weeks rather than the 2 weeks originally quoted by the assistant the manager arranged for me to borrow a display model and knocked some off the price as well.

I wasn't happy with my new sofabed when it finally came (the leather was creased and baggy) so they sent someone round to look at it - they ordered a new one for me with no argument. I felt quite guilty, because three times the delivery men had to struggle to get an extremely large heavy sofa into
the lift and round a sharp corner into our second floor flat!
It's good to know that if something goes wrong (as it often seems to for me) you are not having to wage a minor battle in order to get things sorted satisfactorily.
