BidNip bad reporting

I started using BidNip this week. I really like it, especially the way you can buy snipes rather than subscribe.
I've made three snipes so far, and two have been lost but in each case BidNip reports I've won the item.
It says somewhere on the site that this can happen, but I thought it would be quite rare.
Given that they can report the status faultlessly during the auction I don't understand what the problem is with getting the result correct.
Does anyone else suffer a lot from this effect?
