How do you get the front off a Miele WM?

Hi, does anybody know the knack to getting the front off a Miele washing machine? We have an underwire stuck between the drum and the case. I have removed various screws and bolts, and know that the thing just swings forward, but how?

Hi, I thought I would update on my Miele repair. I fixed it for free, I was quoted over £200!

You need to first take the top off.

The front swings forward like a door, it is hinged on the RHS. You need to take out the 3 bolts from the front middle around the drum, then the screws with the special heads from the top edge front and around the washing powder drawer.

Then, there is a little clip at the bottom LHS that you release, and you wiggle the water outlet thing in the little door area to release it all.

To get to inside the drum, you unscrew the hose clips and pull the big pipe thing (sump hose I think) from the bottom of the drum, then you need to turn the drum until you can free your escaped wire.

Then you need someone strong to put the sump hose back and then you just need to screw it all together again.
