Older student insurance!

Does anyone know of an insurance firm other than Endsleigh who will quote for a mature lady lodging and renting a room in a house! I am not a student but am looking for cover very much like a students cover and some comparison sites don't let me enter my details as I don't want house insurance and am too old for student insurance. I have managed to get a quote from Endsleigh of £85 for the year and that was obtained over the phone.

You're never 'too old' for student insurance, but you're not a student so you can't have student insurance. Just get the cheapest contents insurance that you can find.

That sounds very cheap, but it won't be relevant to you because you are not a student.

A normal Home Contents policy is useless for the OP who is in effect a lodger.

    OP try this scheme http://www.hbinsurance.co.uk/young-professional-insurance/

I've always had to use Endsleigh in a rent a room situation, don't know of any other company that does it

Have tried this site and they are quoting £213!!!!!!!! The Endsleigh quote of £85 seems a little better and they do know my age!
