How sad am I, WH Smiths in town centre had none left yesterday... so remembered last year when other half was in hospital that the WH Smiths in the hospital had the lego last year, went there and low and behold they had them in.... not happy that I had to pay £1.50 for the car park but went back this morning for the Buzz, made other half drive so we didn't have to park up.

Worth thinking about if you live near the hospital though

I had the same problem that they sold out after hour of shop opening , didn't fancy getting there when it opened. they also only had 2 copies of the mirror left which found a bit odd as if someone had take all the copies and toys

The nice lady in WHsmith this morning made me buy only paper to get 2 toys as I have 2 boys. They only had one paper left but big box of the Buzz toys

Yes, it was all gone from our Local WHSmith by 1pm aswell - very disappointed daughter!!! The woman in there reckoned that they only had one small box to last them a day. I asked did they not have one per paper but apparently not. :(

Went to WHSmith in Fareham and 10.30 this morning only half an hour after it opened and they had already run out of the Buzz Lego. Seems a little odd to run out after only half an hour. The cynical part of me is thinking that maybe they got delivered to the store but not all of them made it to the shop floor or some greedy people are getting 2, 3 and 4 at a time. Either way im sure Ebay will be a wash with them, which is a shame for the children I saw in tears in Smiths today.

you must have just missed them, we were there for just after opening at 10 with my 2 boys there was a small que at the till and every person in it was after the lego. Each picking up more then 1 set they only had the one small box! Daft as the fareham smiths is the only store to collect at for the whole of gosport/fareham unless you want to travel to portsmouth which is silly.

I got three sets for my three lego mad children. I do not consider this greedy and can assure you that none of the sets will reach ebay. We got there for opening time and our branch had nearly run out within half an hour of opening too. I think it is more a problem that the promotion does not supply enough of the sets for each paper sold. All the people I noticed were actually getting these for children, be it grandparents or parents. We have been disappointed with the lego promotions in the past so know to get there early. You will know next time.

Just a little tip, don't tell your child about the lego until you have it, this is a free promotional gift, you cannot just expect to get one, it might avoid some upset.

I got my buzz from the hospital yesterday, as has been mentioned above. they had lots of toys, but only 1 newspaper. They must have been sent more toys than papers, I wonder what they do with the spares?
