Managed to get both sets for our son.

Went to Toys R Us at Gateshead yesterday afternoon to be told they had none left, so went to the Disney Store inside the Metro centre where he got the 'Woody' set.

This morning, we went back to Toys R Us, and managed to get the 'Buzz' set, however it looked like they only had one box on the customer services counter.

Doubt we'll be collecting the other items this week though.

Got both sets for my son - really pleased. even though it meant a really out of the way trip today.

Does anyone know if the other items this week are collect in store or are they in the paper? It is not clear I don't think. I'm not going to go into town every day!!

:( not happy. Brought the newspaper - someone has taken the page out arrgggghhhh
  • Went to WHSmith in Fareham and 10.30 this morning only half an hour after it opened and they had already run out of the Buzz Lego. Seems a little odd to run out after only half an hour. The cynical part of me is thinking that maybe they got delivered to the store but not all of them made it to the shop floor or some greedy people are getting 2, 3 and 4 at a time. Either way im sure Ebay will be a wash with them, which is a shame for the children I saw in tears in Smiths today.

got ours in toys r us this morning, they had just opened and there was a member of staff with a small rucksack's worth standing by the toy story display, so I doubt they lasted much longer...

Got mine today with no problems and the girl said she only had a few left - this was at 11am! There should be a set somewhere out there for every coupon (well thats what I always tell myself when I get a coupon to claim a freebie!). I would like to get the bag tomorrow but not interested in the other things.
No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!

Got the buzz today, huge queue outside when we got there & was even pushing & shoving to get in :o
Still considering ours was a small whsmiths I was quite surprised they had quite few boxes of them & imagine they had some in the back aswell like others have said wonder how many staff have kept them behind as there was a lot at ours & it's a small store!

For a comment above I think you do have to go instore for each item every day.hth

Got into town an hour after smiths opened, loads of papers left but they had sold out of toys :(

I think its a mix of such a small amount being sent to stores compared to the amounnt of papers, and people getting multiple sets...( i wouldnt mind if it was for all there kids but when you seen them all on ebay its a tad sad!) i also think its likely that staff got first dibs on these...

in my eyes in places like smiths, you should get the toy with the paper, but only if you buy it there, and they should have the same amount of papers to toys so everyone can get them...then you could redeem vouchers over the following week if they have left overs... (not every one would want the toy tbf)

and there really should be a postal option....

maybe we should all email and ask for a postal option complaining about how difficult it was to get the toy? if enough of us too its possible?
