Help - bought Robbie tickets paid in April - no tickets and no response from seller

My daughter purchased 2 pairs of tickets for Robbie Williams at Leeds this weekend back in April. She received one of the pair of tickets but has emailed the other seller asking where the tickets are but hasn't received a reply. She has since checked on ebay and he is no longer registered. She has contacted Paypal about this but I am concerned that he may have also closed his Paypal account and she will have no way of getting her money back. She paid £160 for this pair of tickets.
I would be really grateful if anyone can offer any suggestions or even guess as to the liklihood of her getting her money back.
If this isn't resolved I would be very wary of ever making purchases from Ebay again.

Unfortunately paypal only give you 45 days to make a claim so if the tickets do not arrive you have lost your money unless you paid by via credit card and can get them involved.
Sellers are not supposed to sell items on ebay that they cannot guarantee for delivery within 30 days, the seller may have been suspended for that.
However, and I know this is harsh, why buy from ebay so far in advance when tickets were not available until it is too late to make a paypal chargeback. As Martin said in his using ebay wisely article, would you have given that money to a bloke in the pub on a promise of tickets 5 months later, if not, why do it on ebay? Ebay is usually quite safe but you must protect yourself just as you would when buying from any where else.
Incidentally, there is another thread running about non delivered Robbie tickets..tickets are a bit of a scam area actually as sellers know if they get a newbie buyer they can promise what they like with no recourse from paypal after the 45 day chargeback.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I agree with your comments completely, but unfortunately my daughter made the purchase and is obviously far too trusting. She did pay on a credit card but I have just checked their terms and conditions and the claim has to be made within 90 days of the payment, so she won't be able to claim on that one either. This unfortunately has been a very expensive lesson.Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you0

I do wonder if it is worth still trying the CC company despite the terms and conditions saying 90 days, it doesn't seem a very long while to give you to make a claim.
