Raising a floor - need advice

Hi, we have had a floor raised using thermal block placed on a concrete base. These are covered in three layers of various wooden board and which are screwed in place. Happy enough with the result except the edge detail, which has been filled with concrete along one wall. The concrete extends up to a set of internal patio doors (which separate the living room from conservatory). Is this an acceptable method?

The concrete is almost flush with the bottom of the door frame such that the tiles we plan to use may now stand proud of it. How easily can this be rectified?

Just looking for opinions as we have so far had a good job from our builders and don't wish to create a fuss about nothing. Thanks :)
