William h brown £1000 cashback scam

William H brown offer a £1000 cash back :A if you use their mortgage advisor (which they charge £299 for and claim around £500 commision from) AND their solicitors (who overcharge rediculously) :D. Despite this you may think its still worth it... However be warned:
The £1000 cashback is not from WHB : they have convinced the vendor to offer the money to ensure a efficient and trouble free solicitors service as we are using a reputable and well known solicitor. The vendor can change their mind at any time so you are not garuanteed the cash back - furthermore, if after the survey or for other reasons, the price is reduced.. you LOSE the cashback~!:(

I am FTB just in the process of buying my my first house. I got fed that £1000 cashback line when I saw a house I liked. Its all very intimidating when you buy your first house and estate agents push you to use their mortgage people and solicitors they recommend. I got told so many things about how much easier it would be. As someone who has never done it before you can get taken in very easily. That would be my biggest tip as a FTB, never get pushed into anything and also come on here to get a second opinion! lol
