They are doing so well - mine are nowhere near that yet. Have some flowers on them so hopefully will have chillies at some stage later this Summer. Well done!0

Thanks! My real excitement will be when I taste one I've grown from seed....jalapenos & scotch bonnet! They're producing buds but no flowers yet...0

OMG! They put my DH's effort to shame! Fair play to him though, he just happened to transplant some seeds from last year's dead effort so we're not expecting miracles! They are approx 2" high now

My cayenne's are going mental too! They are loving this weather! We are in the southeast so have had 25C+ days and 12C+ nights for last 3 weeks or so. The plants are 2.5-3 feet tall (planted in morrison's flower buckets) and have between 10-20 fruits on each one of varying sizes, I am so impressed with myself... not really, think it is more due to the amazing weather and the compost! I have found a good chili jam recipe I am going to try and make; with 4 plants I don't think we are going to eat them all up.0

There will be no feeling of excitment when you taste a scotch bonnet.....just a rather hot burning sensation
The pics look good.0 -
Wow, they look great :T
I have grown an indoor type once before but have not pushed my luck and attempted it since.0 -
No you're definitely not sad. Just proud. It's such a thrill when everything starts to crop isn't it? Well done!
My chillies this year are absolutely loaded. I'm feeding them with Tomorite every other day and they've absolutely loved this recent hot weather. I'm going to have loads for the freezer this autumn and am going to try making a sweet chilli sauce as well.0 -
Will be even prouder when my 1st jalapeno or scotch bonnet fruits (grew them from seed-others were plug plants!)....it's been warm up here in the pennines of w.yorkshire (much better than last 2 summers) but I'm guessing from your post you're in the south-east? You've had stonking temperatures!0
