Is that at blogspot? I can see it on google.co.uk. Perhaps it's just updated now.

It's been there since the 6th at least....

This is Google's cache of [link removed]. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 6 Jul 2010 18:52:46 GMT.

Not necessarily. That's the date it was crawled, it may have been indexed later than that.

Third result in google.co.uk when searching for bigball campingcapers. It's definitely been indexed, it's just really far down the results for whatever search you've been doing.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

If the OP is pasting "bigball-campingcapers" into a google search box, won't google regard "campingcapers" as a negative keyword and exclude pages with "campingcapers" in them....?

Nope, google's smart enough to not treat is as a negation when there's no space.

Why would someone google the URL for a site?

    To find the site.

I've seen it happen loads of times - look over the shoulder of an office colleague, they want to go to..... play.com.

They could go to the URL bar, and type in https://www.play.com, but no - they open google, type "www.play.com" into the search box, then pick the (usually) first result from the organic search results........
