first car help

hi im looking to buy my first car and im looking for tips as ive never done this before (ive been driving for 4 years on mobillity scheme) i have 4000 to spend but would ideally like to pay my years insurance etc out of that, which seems to be coming out at around 600, would like to stick to vauxhall if poss but open to sugestions was thinking maybe a 7 seeter , but might look for a smaller car, i only do around 7000 miles a year and im 34 years old with hubby and 2 boys thanks in advance

    I'd say buy a big car wise you'll be bullied by the big car drivers while out on the road. :D

    the op said first car but also mentioned has been driving for 4 years on mobility scheme so all should be ok.

    if you want 7 seats and stay with vauxhall then looking for a zafira would be your best bet especially as you already drive one.
    failing that go for an astra if you can manage with the size drop.
