Hi all,
Reasonable sort of deal here for anyone looking for an award winning LCD TV, it does have built in Freeview too if you need it.
Specs and awards can be found here: http://www.home-entertainment.toshiba.co.uk/consumer/products.nsf/pages/lcdplasma-lcdfreeview-32wlt66?opendocument
Hop over to Dixons.co.uk and search for product code: 190546 (You have to search as you can't navigate to the product). You'll then be presented with a price of £745 (It's £990 in store @ Currys & Comet). If you then search the voucher forum, you can find at least an additional £50 off this price. If you can't find it PM me and I'll let you know it.
Make the purchase through Linemypocket or similar - an additional 1.5% (approx. - depending on the company you use) back.
So it's;
TV @ +£745
Voucher - £50
Affiliate - £10.43
Total cost including free delivery = £684.57p (approx.)
I think thats quite a good price for a great T.V.
Note: Unit has 2 HDMI connections  The stand can be purchased from Play.com for about £130 including free delivery.
EDIT: Buy on a cash back credit card and save even more!

Do you think this is a better TV than the Panasonic Panasonic TX32LXD60 which is about the same price?0
-
Hi,
Well when I went to see them working I got my choice down to the Samsung 32" or the Toshiba. The sound on the Samsung was quite poor compared to the Toshiba, and the extra HDMI port will come in handy in the future.
I think a lot of LCD is personal choice. I believe that Toshiba produce their own LCD panel, whereas Panasonic purchase theirs from another company.
My suggestion would be to go and take a look at them and see which suits your preference best. Specification wise I don't think there is that much in it.
Sorry I can't help more.0 -
There are a few of us at work that bought them a few months back at £735 using a similar deal, and everyone is delighted with them. Why pay more than you have to?0

Great TV but the updated models (the WLT68 range) will be released later this month so there should be further reductions on the 66 range.0

Highly rated TV but I would have the Panasonic any day, more reliable and a better picture (in my humble opinion).
Great price though well spotted!Tips are good, tips are good, you know that tips are good!0 -
I read on the av forums some good recs for this set0

Save yourself £300 and buy a separate Freeview decoder.
I'm assuming that it's a grey import - there's no mention of it on the Samsung Europe website, but it is on their New Zealand one.
Google it.

Anyone know whether this will accept HD Freeview broadcasts when that comes along or will I need a new box??? Seems a shame to get freeview built in if it doesnt conform to HD...if anyone has one of these sets I would like to know whether the HD trials can be seen with this tv (bbc, itv and ch4 all doing trials at moment, found near the radio channels on freeview)........Thank you.Aint nuthin goin on but the rent0
