Hello All,
trying to help out a friend at the moment (She has been very good to me :A ). Her son works down south and is in work provided accomodation so there is no landline provided. They have to rely on their mobiles to receive personal calls. She has a BT line (I believe she has option 3? if that makes sense) and has racked up quite a huge bill calling her son. His mobile is PAYG so no free minutes. Does anyone have any suggestions to help her cut the cost of calling her son? Nothing that involves credit cards as security please. All suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

Suggestion 1:
https://www.18185.co.uk charges 2p/min weekends 5p/min weekdays to call UK mobiles. You can use a debit card to pay.
Suggestion 2:
Your friend uses an 0844 provider, cheapest at the moment is 4p/min to UK mobiles.
Suggestion 3:
Her son may be on a network that does a cheap call package e.g. O2 PAYG do HOME250 which gives 250mins of off-peak calls from a given postcode for £4.99/month i.e. 2p/min to call back home.0 -
Thanks fonesaver. Who do you (or anyone else for that matter) suggest as an 0844 provider?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
