Hi Folks
Would be grateful for some advice and as ever I am in gratitude for the advice I have been given already.
I have received my documents as per my sar request from HBOS upon looking at them I see my credit card statements from 1995 have an insurance on them its called
"credit card repayments insurance - including insurance premium tax"
my questions is - is this ppi or insurance for goods purchased from my card.
Many Thanks in advance
Andy

Hi Andy
This does look to be the same thing, some are just worded differently, check the details on this policy anyway if you can, if you do not have these they may have these on their website or you can request for them to send you the policy details free of charge to you.
If you need to reclaim for being mis sold, it does help as you have the details.
For more on reclaiming, follow the guidelines and complete FOS questionnaire instead of a template letter, keep a copy and send to whom is responsible for mis selling/setting up your policy.

HI
This is payment protection insurance - all insurances are taxable so the debits on your account are for PPI including the insurance tax.0 -
