            Hi guys
I just called the case worker at HSBC, and I'm fuming! I told her that I did not receive the info pack, with the advice that I could cancel within 30 days, and AGAIN that the policy was not sold as optional. She said that her response is ASSUMING that i received the info pack, and that i was given the option to not take the insurance over the phone!
She siad that I would have to produce evidence that I did not receive the info pack for them to look at it again.
Should I just go to FOS now, or write to HSBC again asking them to review again?0

Same situation with HSBC, received 2 letters saying they're looking into it, so I then called them up to see where they were at with my complaint. I then received about a week later (about 12 weeks after my initial complaint!) the fob off letter which said they would not be upholding my complaint, I had been given 30 days to cancel blah blah blah. So last week I sent them another letter saying this was not good enough, HSBC had basically scared me into taking the PPI out with the loan and what they had told me was not true and it was clear the salesperson was not trained to their high standards because she clearly did not understand what she was selling!
Anyway, they have 7 days left to respond.... from what I've read on here, I'm not expecting a reply, but I'll still keep my fingers crossed! 0 0

just seen something else! looking at the agreement for the ppi. I told them i had employee ill health benefits for at least 6 months, but on the agreement it says less than 6 months. and then it says that i don't have ill health and /or accident policy. Whats the difference between ill health benefits and ill health policy?!??!?
Does this make the case stronger?!?!?0

Keep on at them both and tell them the FSA are punishing banks for not investigating complaints properly and for rejecting genuine complaints, tell them yours have been overlooked and don't believe your reasons have been taken into any consideration.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0
