The question asked was : "OK, Basically what I want to do is get hot and cold water and electricity (socket and light) into my shed outside so I can put a washing machine and tumble dryer in there, is this a good Idea?"
Who does the work is irrelevant. "Is it a good idea" , was the question.
I get your point exactly.
You'll always be able to get someone to do the work providing it complies with building regs and as with any major alterations - that is the route you need to check and get approved before speculating on anything first.
One major consideration would be how water resistant the shed is for the electrics. Also, what about drainage for the washing machine?
