bidding on robbie tickets...

Hi!
I was bidding on some robbie tickets for this weekend, and I lost right in the last few seconds.
A couple of minutes later, I recieved an email from the seller saying that they had been let down by a non paying winner and would I still like to buy them.
I didn't understand why the other person who must have been sitting watching the tickets would bid, and within a couple of minutes email the seller to say they don't want them, for them then to offer them to me. I've wrote back no thanks, as something doesn't seem right, but what are your views?
Do you think they were trying to bid the auction up themselves or something else? I'm a bit weary of buying tickets from ebay, so anything that seems a bit dodgy I'm avoiding anyways.
Thanks!

Either these auctions are being deliberately spoilt by someone who doesn't like ebay "touts" or the seller was bidding on his own auction to up the price.0

Yep does to me too. To be honest though I wouldnt buy tickets for concerts online - well from ebay - anyway for fear of being conned - either by non delviery of tickets or dodgy tickets.Weight Loss - 102lb0
