OK - today was good, since it was a no spend day. In fact I'm so busy at work that I don't really get time to make myself a coffee let alone go to the shop to spend anything :D .

Yesterday however does take some making up for...
New car £2500 (OH has new job so we are now a 2 car family :( )
Service cost of original car £238
Insurance on new car £191

I'm well chuffed with the new car though - and have that "new car" glow about me!!!
However - did all go on plastic :( but have a new 0% card coming ready for the transfer :T .

...think I'm going to have to update my sig...in the wrong direction...:o

It's going to be a tough month. The budget for the car was £3000 (i.e. that was what we could afford to pay out on per month as a minimum payment) so I'm glad to be fairly well under that (so we can cover more than the minimum) and with a decent car to boot.

Can anyone beat that in the spending stakes???

    Ww

PS Moozie - well done for getting us going on a daily basis at the moment with this thread :T

    Hey wizwoo :)

Well done on going under budget in a way for the car. Hope you get your SOA back in line quickly - I can only imagine what a blow it must be. On the other side, your OH's new job is hopefully a better paid one

You are welcome! It helps me to see it as my morning task to get the thread going and to see how we are all doing during the day ;)

There seems to have been a few of us getting prescriptions today - so just £6.65 for me. I usually get the feeling they have to dust off the till when I go in as everyone else seems to get them for free!

I really, really wanted to buy a new computer today but thus far I have resisted. Its all Apple's fault for releasing a new model today which would look fabulous on my desk :(

My friend cut and coloured my hair for free, what a star. It was another friends birthday and somone owed me some money i'd completely forgot about from last december so they put my share in for the present :j

I'm being really tough on myself at the moment and am only leaving the house with £2.00 in the morning and no cashpoint card (my bank at the moment only allows me to have a card that withdraws money from the cashpoint so couldn't use it in a shop even i i wanted to. However Clydesdale Bank have decided to withdraw their single use cards and replace them with a Maestro card, so even more reason to leave the new one at home)

£15.89 on groceries, leaving me with 12p left in my pocket.

Get paid on Friday, so Thursday will have to be a no spend day
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done
