For one week only, Oxfam have tickets to the Womad Festival for sale at £100 instead of the full ticket price £125.

Don't know about you, but I'd much rather buy it for charity
And it's a good little festival! Very civilised.

Personally I don't contribute to Oxfam, I would rather support Help the Aged, etc etc, ie any home based charity. That way I know my money is going to those I wish to help, not some tin pot African dictator.
Furthermore having been to Africa and met some of the residents part of me says I would rather throw my coins down the drain than support them.0 -
Fine, but it's still £25 cheaper than buying from the festival organisers and this is MSEMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Thanks for this tip. I just bought my tickets.
By the way, Oxfam doesn't support 'tin pot dictators.' And there are quite a few unpleasant people in this country, too -- see BLT.0
