heard him interviewed on the radio last week. surprisingly the vendors are supportive of this method! apparently it is getting results just because it is so different.
  • Yeah i saw this in the paper too. They should all be like this. If I ever sell a house near Bournemouth I'll use him!
    Debt Is Slavery.
  • I was wondering why we had 80 odd hits on the site from moneysavingexpert.com.

The details are definitely for real. :D

Love this website. I always tell people to come and have a look when researching mortgages.

Mr Green, If only all EA's could be like you. As a potential FTB still massively priced out of the area's I want to buy in it would make me more willing to look at properties if I could trust that the EA knew the area and property well and was being completely honest about it.

Good luck to your business, I agree with what you say in your other posts about the state of the housing market in this area (Bournemouth/Christchurch). If you ever get the elusive freehold 2 bed flat with garden for less than 130K then pm me! ;-)

In a way, your making them sound so bad that if someone did go and view them they are prepared and not shocked, thus making the house 'not as bad as expected'.

I loved the following in the details:

"If you're either brave, or unfortunate enough to want to view this property, please drop me an email. We strongly recommend not bringing friends of family members. Much better to surprise them with how much help you need fixing the place up after you've purchased. Don't give them a chance to say no! I do apologise for the lack of photographs, but I didn't really fancy spending too long in there!"

Just try and accurately portray what's there + bit of fun so people actually read it. ;)

I've been in a house recently that was such a health hazard I couldn't take it on. Really unwell after valuation. That set of details would have been an interesting read!
