It might be cheaper to book from HK..I called the HK office and got 4 tickets (2 adults 2 children) for under £1000. (Just because the exchange rate is favourable at the moment....worth checking out!
  • We got returns flights for 2 adults & 2 children over Christmas for around £926. Bargain!!

Does anyone know if infants get a seat? The infants are still charged £75 each way, so I assume they must be allocated a seat as well.

You can't assume that. Standard airline practice is to charge a fee for taking an infant on your lap, and they don't even get a luggage allowance, let alone a seat! It is possible that Oasis is unusually generous, but don't count on it.

The lowest fare I can see are £225 each way? Am I doing something wrong?
  • Probably not...there's only 10% of the seats available for £75 on every flight.
  • Hi

Infants under 2 don't get a seat unless you pay for a child's fare. Depending on the age and weight of the infant they might be able to fit into a bassinett. You will however to request it with the airline before travel.

    Just call them.

    Info fro Oasis website -
    Flying with Infants
We do not recommend passengers fly with infants within seven days of birth.

Bassinets are available for infants up 6 months or 12kgs in weight. We strongly recommend you request a bassinet for your child when booking your tickets as we only have a limited supply available.

Passengers also have the option to purchase a seat for the infant which would allow the use of a car seat. The car seat must be able to be secured onto the passenger seat with an aircraft safety belt and must be forward facing. For safety reasons, infants need t be seated on the accompanying adult’s lap for takeoff, landing or whenever the “fasten seat belt sign” is lit on board.

2 infants travelling with 1 adult may only be accepted if the second infant is over 6 months of age and travelling in an approved car seat and paying the child fare.

A second infant under 6 months of age must be accompanied by another adult.

Hello. I'm looking at alternative places to buy airline tickets and was wondering if anyone who has flown with this company got any feedback for return flights for adults in economy?
I think the only thing holding me back is that I've never flown with these people before nor have I been to Gatwick so any comments would be greatly appreciated ^_^

They don't start flying until October 26th - and from what I read the other week even that is in doubt as their crew training methods aren't yet qualified/approved.
