Your rights when buying from businesses online

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you are entitled to a full refund including the initial delivery charge if you return a product, or inform the retailer that you want to return the product, within seven working days
However retailers are not obliged to pay for the cost of returning the goods
More info on companies such as Next who have been flaunting this law, looking at it 'differently'.

They say they'll correct this by August!!
Obviously you can take them to a small claims court over it, my view would be to avoid Next's online if you're in any doubt about returning items until then...

That is not correct, they are obliged to pay return charges unless they specify that they won't in a durable medium prior to the contract being formed.0 -
