my husband has just ordered this. Straight away I realised this is obviously a scam and came on here to find out it was. Now I am wondering how to stop this. I have already cancelled his card. WIll this stop anything else being taken (other than the original £3)?
thanks for your help

You need to cancel with them also and keep the cancellation confirmation just in case.
Some people seem to have had no problems cancelling where others have had lots of problems. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I have sent them an email saying i want to cancel but no response yet. I am also speaking to someone on livechat at the moment asking them to cancel. If the card is cancelled is there anyway they can take out more money on top of the £3? thanks0

thanks read through that thread earlier. Alot of people said they cancelled card but still got charged, can this happen? I thought once the card was cancelled nothing else could be charged to it, it was a debit card. Not sure if that makes a difference? thanks0

Do you have a postal address for them?
Have you read the terms and conditions for the "free" trial? I'm sure there was something mentioned that tea has to be returned or something like that. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
dont have address, the person on livechat said my order was cancelled and that i wouldnt receive anything in post but not too sure given everything i have read about them on here0

Hi fellow victims; I’m sad to say my good lady fell for this one, despite my ongoing advice of following everything researched with the word ‘scam’ before making any commitment. Nevertheless, we received nothing at all, but still had money extracted from our account. I am now seeing this issue through to the bitter end.
I cannot go into finer detail here due to risk of alerting those concerned, but I am approaching certain parties in terms of breach of privacy & use of certain materials without permission. This also involves thinking outside the box regarding postage services that offer no proof of delivery & the seller being responsible for this & other discrepancies. Research suggests Cho-Yung use R.M. tracked service, but this does not require a signature, hence packages stuffed through letter boxes (if they don’t get thrown over the nearest hedge).
Much of the information & links offered by others here has been first class & has allowed me to make rapid progress. However, one legal contact has strongly advised; Do NOT accept anything any Cho-Yung employee tells you regarding cancelation of subscriptions or orders. Do NOT accept that any confirmation email is precisely that. DO cancel your appropriate credit/debit card asap, but do NOT assume this to be the solution. These parasites are licensed to TAKE your money by virtue of the details given to them, the bank is not giving it to them. Do NOT tell your bank your card is lost or stolen, explain the circumstances as foolish as you might feel. They are already fully conversant with this issue, the more individual incidents they catalogue; the more likely they are to take action of their own.
Do NOT wait for your bank to suggest claiming a chargeback. Remind them of the rules regarding credit/debit card transactions (a previous poster has included a useful link & advice for this) accompanied by a polite letter of intention & the reasons why, even more so if you have not received any goods. These people are now becoming complacent & believe they can get away with the latter through their contradictory Terms & Conditions.
Two of the biggest failings of this company so far is lack of response & duration between dispatch & receipt not qualifying for a 14 day return of goods. There is also a question of inconsistent charges across the board suggesting irregular &/or false accounting. These accounts must be made available on demand by certain agencies, subject to number of complaints & can lead to criminal prosecution. As Arnie would say; I’ll be back!0 -
Hi Guys!
I am too a victim - I use Victim lightly, as maybe I should have researched it better
However I have cancelled my card, 7 days after initial purchase of the 'free trial'
Please anyone thinking of buying this dont, it gives you the worst stomach crapms, and gives you a long stay over the toilet, my guess is yes you are losing weight, but not in the way you want to...
Hopefully cancelling my card will do the trick, but we shall see...
The website is now not allowing access, and I have sent various emails to help@choyung.com / customersupport@choyung.net
Apparantly they have an aggreement with Visa that allows them to determine the length of subscription! And also they switch websites week to week so it over runs the trail period, giving them more ground to charge toy. So the only way was to cancel my card.
Fingers crossed!
& Good luck!!0
