You don't say what version of Word, what printer you have nor what's wrong with what you are doing, so that's not much to work with!
Have you gone into Page Setup and set the paper size as a Custom Size?
Are you placing the bags in the correct corner of the printer feed tray for non-standard sizes (usually indicated by an envelope symbol)?
Have you tried placing the wording that you want as a Footer, which should allow you to get as close as you like to the bottom of the page?0 -

Give us a clue. What's wrong with it? Wrong height, wrong side-to-side placement, lettering squint, printer not feeding properly....????0 -

Not a particularly helpful answer..but thankyou for your input
I am using an Epson 1290 photo printer and just a normal word document.
The bag just rolls through the printer..even when I try to alter the printer properties...using the custom sizes.
Just needed a bit of help really. When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
...so the printer doesn't seem to be sensing the bag is there?
I think some study of the printer manual, particularly any section relating to non-A4 paper sizes, is called for. If you don't have a paper manual for the printer, look for your install discs; it;s usually included as a .PDF on one of these; or look online at Epson's website for a download.0 -

Can you get it to print on a piece of paper the same size as the bags?
Have you changed the document properties or page setup within the word document to specify the page size corresponding to the paper size?
File Menu
Page Setup
Paper tab - change paper size from A4 to something appropriate.
If you load an A4 sheet in the printer, and print your doc, does your text print on this?0 -
Nearly the right question. I would ask if it prints the design intended for the bags on a piece of A4. I just wonder if the image is being put where the bags do not go.Can you get it to print on a piece of paper the same size as the bags?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Can you hear the print head move at all?0 -
Would it be easier and cheaper to get a rubber stamp made up with the text and stamp the bags by hand?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
