I'm with OneTel which I know is part of Talk Talk and currently get unlimited evening & weekend calls for a promotional price of 99p per mointh (reduced by around a quarter as I buy blocks of calls up front through their regular auctions). I'm on CPS and use 1899 etc. during the day.
On checking the OneTel site I see I have the option of changing my plan to
Any obvious drawbacks?

Surely you would be better off by cps your calls to Primus Saver 2.(FREE Evening and Weekend calls to UK Geographical numbers.)

You already get the cheapest peak geo calls from 1899,and if you wont cheap mobile calls register for 18185,who also offer cheap ngn rates.0 -
Maybe the quote could have been clearer when I copied & pasted it but the British Gas plan is free.
I already use 1899/18185 and am registered with 18866 but don't use it at the moment!0 -
If its free so be it.Its still supplied by TT though.
I personally would not deal with either Talk Talk or Brit Gas.:eek:0 -
I've been with them for ages and had no major probs - told them no way when they suggested I take my line rental to them tho'0

You haven't mentioned if the British Gas evening & weekend is an offer or how much it is.
I'm glad to hear you've kept your options open by keeping your linerental with BT and not moving to OneTel/TT.0 -

According to British Gas's website (https://www.house.co.uk) this offer only seems to last 6 months:Talk 2 - 6 month inclusive offer
unlimited number of inclusive evening and weekend calls to all UK 01 & 02 numbers - no call plan charge for first 6 months
line rental charged at £11 per month
you could save £42 against BT's Together Option 2 standard package fee in the first year
only British Gas customers are eligible to get this great 6 month inclusive offer
Also, they only list the WLR version - are you sure there is a non-line rental version of this offer or will TalkTalk move your line rental, if you change tariff as well?
Personally, I would just switch to Primus
