Regarding this, there was an article today about micro-pubs, can't find the link but here is some info http://www.micropub.co.uk/
An alternative use for unused shops in some locations? Particularly those with no public house?
Sounds good to me:beer:...hick.....
Never forget the social needs in my book - "A loaf of bread...some flowers...and some wine" - well theres some sorta quote along those lines and we need all aspects.:)0 -
Am pleased with myself today, 59p's worth of diced pork with soy sauce and honey, roasties out of the freezer and onion and cabbage bahji's (or are they pakora?) for tea. and yummy it was too :T
Going to Mums tomorrow, she got me some wool from Lidl and Im dying to see it, hopefully good for Dgs's new jumper as he is growing like a sprout :rotfl: We cannot fill him after his gastro bug. He managed to cut 2 teeth in the last 2 weeks as well.
Am trying to stay positive but every time I watch the news I get fed-up, so am avoiding the news for a few days so I can keep up my momentum!Clearing the junk to travel light

Wouldn't make any difference here in London, foxes are out all the time. There are loads of them, bit like squirrels, they're everywhere.
It was rare to see one back in the 60's when I was a kid, now I just slow down to let them cross the road without batting an eyelid.0 -
Lesson there in the dangers of feeding and enticing wild things away from the wild eh ?
Foxes are gorgeous to look at. Like eagles. But they have their own place in things and if we bring them out of that place then things go wrong .0 -
Sorry Mar keep getting bumped off laptop as kids are home..she had put them away for the night but the beggars went under the wire run and chewed literally through the side of the wooden coop!
We have tons of foxes here and a lot of the residents insist on feeding them although they have a 1 minute walk to a huge common to feed themselves..
The foxes are so tame they follow you around which is quite daunting at times, hubbiw put the bins out last night and my neighbour had 2 following her as she was putting out a chicken carcass for them..right outside our gate :mad:0 -

Well - thats a LOT more tactful way of putting "Just keep driving - at normal speed - and if a fox gets hit it gets hit":rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Oh no, didnt mean that at all C. Meant that if folk had left foxes where they were designed to be, then they wouldnt need to cross roads in the first place0
