Advice needed: Dell wont take my money!

Hi
Sorry if this is in the completely wrong forum, i'm completely new to this. I have just brought a new computer from Dell and it has arrived and is great. The problem is they haven't taken payment from my bank account. I have gone through the avenues at Dell who have sent me an email confirming that it was successfully taken and that there was even a credit made for the overdraft amount (i'm a student) I have checked at Haifax (my bank) who continue to say that nothing has been taken.

I don't want to ignore it and spend the money, as i'm worried they might come at me in a months time when its probably gone on something else. I need some advice on what rights i have in this situation?

Thanks for all your help, sorry again if its in the wrong place.

How many days has it been. It can take some days for them to bill you depending on your method of purchase. How did you pay?

you will more than likely receive an Invoice through the post in a envelope clearly marked Dell, at which point you owe monies.

At this point, the billing will take place using your Credit Card.

Buying online doesn't take payment immediately if i remember correctly, it merely guarantees payment against your card, and depending whether the item comes from Ireland or not, it can take a short time to bill after despatch date.

I remember a few weeks ago a lot of people were complaining that they had purchased things from dell to find years later they hadn't been charged and a debt agency being involved. Do have a read of that.
