strange question...

I'm typing my house details into a website to get a vague valuation, but i don't know what it is, eg, terraced or whatever.

It's a block of four houses in a square, with one house on each corner. So we're attached to the left and the back.

I don't think it's a flat because we've got an upstairs and a downstairs.

What would you call it?

These cluster houses are sometimes called semis, sometimes called terraced. It's hit and miss which is correct really.

They are joined on both sides by a neighbour, but at the same time they have an end wall of their own.

So, there is no right/wrong answer that will/can be applied consistently.

For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!

OP, if you're randomly typing it in to find the value, why not simply work out which house numbers in your road are exactly the same as yours, then go to http://www.zoopla.co.uk to see how it'd apply the rises/fals of values for all houses like yours, giving you a range of potential for houses just like yours, in your street.

What's a mews? So out of touch!

I put in terraced and am delighted with the results! I'm not trusting it though, it's to good to be true. It says it's worth £99.6k when the agents said £85-95k but they thought most likely £88k.

"mews" does seem to be used to describe any number of permutations of house style. I'm sure you could make it fit here!

It was Zoopla i used and I'm sorry, i have no idea what you mean. All four houses on the block are the same value on Zoopla. Well, apart from mine now I've changed it from "Flat, Leasehold, -- Beds, -- Baths, -- Receps " to "Terraced, Leasehold, 1 Beds, 1 Baths, 1 Receps "
