A friend of my OH has asked me if I can prepare a tenancy agreement (he wants to rent his house out to his DD). Is there a site where I can download a template for one - preferably for free?

    Hi,

    I don't know of a free template but the one's I used to use are the Lawpacks Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement, a whole pack that includes the legal agreement and inventory, very easy to follow. They were about £12.00 from WHsmith and Staples. I'd always strongly advise that you get a proper one so any potential probs can't crop up later on, that way everyone is clear about both tenants and landlords rights and responsibilities.
