claiming back ppi on behalf of someone else?

one of my freinds mothers who has sadly just passed away was in the beginning stages of reclaiming her ppi are the family still able to proceed with this if they have paperwork signed by her?

    That is so sad, and am very sorry to hear this news.

    If the procedures were already started, I think that "may be okay", but I am not sure for definate.
    Did your friends mother share that account with anyone?

    It may actually be a good idea to contact your local Citizens advice on this matter, or maybe someone else have been through the same sort of thing on here and will post up soon.

    good advice Di, i cant see why not my girlfriends mam is claiming on a policy she held jointly with her deceased husband.
