Arghhh Great Universal stinks!

I really need to vent right now!!!!! Been waiting 2 weeks for my new bed even though it showed as in stock when I purchased it. Spent an hour putting it together on my own only to find out when I put the mattress on they have sent me a double mattress for my kingsize frame!!!:mad: :mad: Customer service lady kindly said well if you can just package the whole thing up and we will sort out a new one! NO WAY I've just spent an hour putting it together there is no way I am taking it apart to wait another 2 weeks just because the mattress THEY sent me is the wrong size! My head feels like it's gonna explode might need to go outside an scream(don't want to wake the kids up lol):mad: :mad:

Didn't she mean package up the incorrect mattress, so that you'd get a new one? Why would you take the bed apart if there is nothing wrong with it?

But surely they can't expect you to do that, firstly for all the inconvenience it would put you to, and secondly because they don't need the rest of it back!

How can they say that a double mattress and a king size bed frame are part of a package?!!

If they'll pick up the old one when the new one's delivered, can you switch mattresses?

Tell them that you'll charge them for a handyman to come and disassemble the bed! Or get a quote for a KS mattress from a local bed supplier and send it to them? You shouldn't have to go thru the inconvenience!
