Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this is classed as change in circumstances but I am hoping one of you have an answer for me at least! So I'm going into my last year (3rd) at uni in September and for the previous two years I have recieved the basic loan amount that you can get without being income assessed. This is how I applied this year as well. However, my father has been out of work for around a year, until now, when he has got a new job in Qatar, so will be moving out there for at least two years at the weekend. Now, will this mean my mother is now a "single parent" (note: they are still together, just dad is moving for the job!). Does anyone know if there is any grants that would be given for this situation, and will my dads income be assessed from his job over in Qatar or is it just whoever now lives in the house at home?
Thanks if anyone can help! Just want to know if theres anything available for this sort of situation...

Nah, father's income will still be assessed. They're still classing theirselves as a married couple, and father will be contributing to the household.0
