am a complete iphone novice so am stuck !!

the phone recognises the home network but wont connect to it - have correct key

also how do i get it to connect to the internet without the network

If you can see your home network and have the correct key then check the wireless security settings on your router. Or have you typed the password correctly in to your iPhone as the keyboard can be temperamental.

The keyboard on iPhones and touches comes up in capital letters all the time but will actually print lower case letters by default, other than the first letter of a new sentence. As such you need to use the shift key (the up arrow) in order to get upper case letters for the network key.

the network key is all in lower case and yes my daughter said was probably my fat fingers !! but no have tried loads of times and even she has !! lol her new blackberry connected to it straight away so dont think its a router thing ?
