Lloyds TSB

had a strange call about my application, confirming detailsetc , he said it would now be passed off to the investigations team? Whats that mean?

    Why don't you telephone them back and ask what they are investigating. I would tbh, the curiosity would get the better of me lol.

    What department phoned you?

    BTW Why did you want a Basic account? You should of applied for a Classic.

    Maybe he applied for a classic but like me at the end of the application it said i did not meet their requirements and offered the basic bank account instead.

    the op in another post said went for a basic just to get foot in the door.
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
