After waiting for my tribunal which was upheld then the further wait for them to get the proof from tribunals service, which took some time as they had my NI number wrong by 1 letter on the tribunal form so had to send my copy by fax to them on Monday, cut a long story short i have a call on Tuesday to say I am in the work focused group and my payment has been released, does this mean it will be in the bank tomorrow? I hope so as I have waited for a very long time for this and the amount I am getting means that I will not have to worry for a month or 3...
Praise is given to the young lady who helped me get this all sorted, I have even written to the DWP to express my thanks..

I won my appeal over 3 weeks ago - phoned at least once a week to find out if they had received notification but they kept saying no - so I contacted the tribunal service on Monday who faxed it over to the DWP straight away - within an hour I had a call from DWP confirming receipt, apologising for delay and letting me know payment had been released for backdated amount and when I checked my bank this morning there it was - I cried with relief at finally getting what I was entitled to - it will be so useful as I can now get a shower installed as cannot use the bath and a bed that I can get in and out of without needing constant help and assistance. The lady I spoke to from DWP was fantastic as she was so apologetic and said if money wasn't in my bank by tomorrow to contact her so it must have made a nice change for her when I phoned her today to thank her for the money being in - wonder if we are dealing with the same office LOL So I think it takes about 3 days from when it is released so hopefully you will get yours very soon. Well done!:j:T Total Prize Value 2012 - £1835 :T:j
