British Gas Monitor the market
Not sure if this item has been on Forum previously but today received a letter from British Gas stating that 'We'll monitor the market and beat the lowest standard dual fuel prices, on average use, right up until October 2011. It is called a Market Monitor Tariff. They say they will monitor what other suppliers, including nPower, EDF Energy. E.ON, Scottish Power and Southern Electric, are charging. And if their prices go down less than theirrs, we guarantee to beat them within 6 weeks.

"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
