What are .php notes & why can't I view them ?

Hi trying to read assignment notes on a site you click them and it opens in a new page.
Every time I try to open one I get the following error message box ?
I have emailed the company but had no reply


Internet explorer cannot download notes.php from secre retaileyes.co.uk

PHP is a very widely used scripting language.

In all probability you are seeing this error because the file you want to view is not where the page you are looking at says it is. If that's correct, the error is not at your end but within the company's web server(s), and there is nothing you can do - though looking at the web page source can sometimes give a hint if it's just a typo in the reference.

Do the assignment notes need a login of any sort, have you got a direct link ?

If notes.php isn't working then chances are the internal web server on their site isn't setup properly or the page doesn't exist. There could be other ways of viewing it (albeit a bodge)

You have to log in to the site to start with
Then you click on the assignment notes your interested in and they open in a new page
I have used the site with no trouble for 4 years
Now suddenly I can't see them
Will ring the company again !

Really annoying because it's work I can't access

The issue is with their webserver, the link is most likely broken because I could see .php pages fine yesterday (on the home page)

Just rang them AGAIN !!!!
The lady logged in as me on her system and could view the notes fine,she said it has to be my PC as if it was their problem the:( phones would be ringing off the hook.
So I uninstalled flash player again restarted and re installed it
Still got the same problem

I just don't get it :-( :mad::(

I run Kaspersky could it be anything to do with that blocking it ?

Without knowing your details it's hard to say. I wouldn't have thought your PC would be issue although it's certainly possible if your using cached copies

Try going into your internet browsing and clearing all the history, cookies, temporary internet files.

Have a try again after closing and reopening internet browser. That may do the trick.

Kapersky shouldn't be affecting it unless there is a setting to block scripts.

Also with Internet Browser, there are tickboxes which refer to blocking scripts (I know theres one in firefox, think it's called adblocker)

You could try resetting your Internet Browser to default settings, and see if that helps too
