Hi All,
I have scaffolding that has been outside my rented property for over a year im on the third floor and there are no locks on the windows ive just discovered Im not covered for my contents insurance due to this, now the builders need to start work and gain access to my kitchen to do damp works which is fine if im there but im not happy to let people in and out as they please when i have no cover just in case anything gets lost or stolen do I have any rights or can they just start work when they like ?
