Flat To Rent In Tewkesbury (Help!)

Where can I search for flats to rent that aren't through an estate agent? There don't seem to be any where I live and I'm geting desperate due to eviction notice from current landlord (please, no suggestions of council as I'm already on the list but as I'm not priority, I'm not likely to get)

I'm in Tewkesbury if anybody knows of any 1 bed flats to rent!

I can't afford their ridiculously high fees.

    Gumtree?

But take a friend along, make sure you go into the property and are not just driven past it (!really!), etc, as it is often mentioned as a source of scams.

    Local paper?
    Work notice board?

I check gumtree daily but nothing ever comes up around here (tiny town but full of council flats). Again, nothing in local paper. Not enough staff at work (only 4 of us!)

    Thanks anyway

I know it sounds stupid but have you asked around the local area...and checked ad cards in the local newsagents, post office or supermarket...
Its easy to type in a web address daily to check properties that are available but with that ease comes a higher price as you have suggested...sometimes asking around seems a hassle but it may end up paying off for you

  • Surely you have a local paper with a property guide in? usually comes out on a Thursday.

Google Gloucester Echo and look in the property pages
