The technical helpline is a national rate call, not a premium rate call, You have to phone and obtain an authorisation code for a faulty electrical item before returning the item to store, as this verifys the item is actually faulty andis in place to combat fraudulant refunds and help customers, as most of the time items arent faulty! To be honest, your store should have told you to phone apple, who will collect and fix your ipod within a week, which is the usual process with a faulty ipod, and is an excellent service apple provide! however if the store were prepared to take it back, and the reciept was present saying you originally paid by cash, you should have been offered cash, and should go back and get cash! Speak to the store manager if you can.0
