    Hi there
The FLA rarely help anyone and to what I know of are a complete waste of time.

The Financial ombudsman service (FOS) are unable to investigate complaints if the business were not governed by the FSA or prior to these GISC, but there are other directions to take in which the FOS will still be able to advise.

Normally its the insurer/underwriter instead, who would have been governed, the FOS have suggested this avenue to many as they are also trying to make the insurer/underwriter responsible as well.

So you could give the FOS a ring as a general query, explain your situation, tell them the FLA are unable to help, but ask them what they think about the insurer/underwriter direction.

    Call them here:

Good luck, please let us know how you get on.;)
