    Hi,
firstly you look gorgeous and i love the bouquets..congrats! Just wanted to ask you what you did in your reception given you had button bouquets, did u have flowers or something else?

i am seriously thinking of having these bouquets but just wondering whether it would be a mismatch if i have flowers in reception..on tables etc??

Just wondering how you did it for some inspiration :) ?

thank you so much :) we had real flowers at the wedding reception. At first, we said we didn't want them, and was trying to think of ways to include the buttons. But in the end, we found a great guy to do some real flowers and I think they worked alright with the button bouquets! I haven't had the photo's back from the reception yet, but they should be added within the next week. As soon as they are, I'll let you know, and you can take a look at the flowers and see what you think :) Hope that helps xx

Hi, I've just come across this thread and had a little look at your photos. I think they are amazing and full of lovely and unusual things. You looked beautiful and the day looked such fun. Weddings have certainly changed since mine in 1981!!

    Thank you :)

For thew pew ends, I bought these: Oasis Le Klip (such a shame, I recently threw the leftover ones away, otherwise you could have had them!)

Then I made some little stems like this: http://whimsy-girl.blogspot.com/2008/04/button-bouquet-tutorial.html and just pushed them into the oasis. I used a glue gun to secure them, most of them were okay without glue, but some of the heavier buttons were falling out!

And then, I glued some ribbon around the green bit that showed at the top.. and glued a little button to that bit too :)

    Hope that makes sense! xx

Thank you so much for that..thats so helpful and despite being pretty rubbish at crafty stuff i might just be able to pull it off. Are the wires easy to come by...sorry with the questions but i am really bad at this kinda stuff..honestly!!

Really looking forward to seeing the rest of your pics. :)

You can get the wire from any sort of craft shop, or florist I think...

    It comes like this...

    beadsmith-non-tarnish-craft-wire-silver-99-c%5Bekm%5D100x100%5Bekm%5D.jpg

You can get all different sorts, I can't remember the exact gauge that I got, but all I would say is don't get the really thin wire that comes in all different colours!
