Oh my god. I love your wedding. We actually have the same wedding shoes, apart from mine are powder blue with red hearts! Definitely send your wedding to Kat at Rock and Roll Bride, its totally worthy of her blog!!! I love it. Completely. And there is so much inspiration for my own day (next june!). Do you mind me asking what the customs charges were like on the button bouquets? Well, actually, the whole lot if you don't mind telling me. I'm loving letters4lilly but I'm worried it'll cost me a fortune!

Thank you Amy! :) Love the shoes, be prepared to have lots of photo's taken of your feet!! For the bouquets, customs charges were £69.13, they were held up for a week or two from what I remember, so I would make sure you order in plenty of time if you decide to go for them! Also, I think Liza has about a 36 week wait now! I would highly recommend using her though, the bouquets are lovely :) In total, I think we spent about £230 on the bouquets/buttonholes and shipping was about £50. We had one brides bouquet, 3 bouquets for the bridesmaids, 1 toss bouquet, 5 buttonholes and 2 corsages. Hope that helps! :) xx

Agree about Rock 'n' Roll Bride, those piccies would be perfect to be featured on there!

I'm amassing various ideas for my own future plans and it is great to see the 50s style dresses your bridesmaids wore in their glory - I have a 50s style dress for myself in mind but having seen those I might just consider a variation on the theme for my bridesmaids - not sure what my 6 and 3 year-olds would make of it (or even if you could get similar in children's sizes?) but def. for my grown-up sis!

Wow, what fantastic photos, and your day looked amazing, I loved the two "spivs" with the braces and co-ordinated outfits, and the odd glimpses of the wee girl in the Minnie Mouse spotted dress. Your dress is very beautiful. Congratulations. X

Thanks Joho :) Yes, my dress was an original 1950's wedding dress, bought from Love Miss Daisy x

    Hi,
firstly you look gorgeous and i love the bouquets..congrats! Just wanted to ask you what you did in your reception given you had button bouquets, did u have flowers or something else?

i am seriously thinking of having these bouquets but just wondering whether it would be a mismatch if i have flowers in reception..on tables etc??

Just wondering how you did it for some inspiration :) ?
  • Oh my! Fabulous.

I love love love the "button" bouquets. Such imagination!

You looked stunning as well. So elegant and classical.
