What can I claim?

Hi,
I currently do not claim any money. I am not sure if I can or not, I just ever have.
I live with my partner, although we are not married.
I earn £26k a year, he earns £28k
So we do not qualify for working tax benifits or anything like that as wages are high.
I have just found out I am pregnant. My job will pay maternity pay and I am planning on returning to work part time. 18.5 hours a week at £13k
So we are dropping 13k per year, we can afford our mortgage and bills and will not struggle with the drop. and I do intend on going back full time in a few years.
Anyway what am I entitled to benifits wise. Is it just the child tax. How to childcare vouchers work?

you will get approx £20 per week child benefit and the same for child tax credits, no working tax credits
You may possibly get a little help from tax credits for childcare but if either of your employers offer it may be better to work out which is better for you
here is a rough guide http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/people-advise-others/entitlement-tables/work-and-child/work-pay-childcare.htm#2
you can also run your figs through http://www.turn2us.org.uk/benefits_search.aspx as if baby was here and try some different scenarios
congratulations by the way0 -

for any benefit enquiries i would contact your local council office and ask for the benefit enquiry team...they will advise you on a one to one basis on ALL benefits you can claim for including housing,child/work.incap etc without pre judging you and giving impartial advice.
dont bother with jobcentre as they dont have time or inclination and sometimes the knowledge to help. CAB can be good but not as good as local council which will even fill in forms for you.0
