Funds taken from my credit card before agreed date

 I ordered two pairs of shoes from Hotter comfort concept.

Funds for both pairs were taken from my credit card on 29th May.

The first pair eventually arrived on 2nd July, with the other pair still to follow. The date of despatch was 26th June.

It states on the sales notice that "Payments by credit/debit card will be taken on despatch of your goods" As total payment was taken from my account on date of order where do I stand?

I've emailed and spoken to them about poor communication, very poor delivery and the business of taking funds before the due date and get standard emails in return and a promise of a return call from a supervisor which didn't happen.

Incidentally refunds take up to 28 days. It seems they're Hotter to take than return.

What exactly do you you want?
  • Id like to know if they can take the funds from my credit card at date of order rather than date of despatch, which is what is stated.
Thanks - I'm very new at this!
  • have you lost out financially as a result?

Theres a difference in taking funds and authorizing funds. So i wouldn't be surprised if this is what has happend.
  • Thanks to all of you for getting this into proportion for me. Maybe I'm suffering from a bit of midsummer madness. I'll put up and shut up now.
