Royal Mail - God, I am so angry

I returned some goods to an address in France by 'signed for international' mail and was told it would take 3 days to arrive. I have just looked for proof of delivery and can't find it. I telephoned Royal Mail and a recorded message says that it is only missing if not delivered within 20 days of the date expected to be delivered.

Have had probs with the royal mail and i now use postwatch. Try these they have resolved everything that i have thrown at them.

Were the goods unsolicited? (i.e. Did your Dad order them or did they just turn up?) if it's the latter then they cannot do anything about it - they can't take you to court for stuff you didn't order and if they try to claim your Dad did, ask to see the order form with his signature on it.

I had huge probs with a company who sent loads of videos - I was threatened with court action and everything if I didn't send the goods back (it was about £150 worth of stuff). I was a student at the time, so my Dad got involved and told them we wouldn't send the goods back and if they wanted to recoevr them they should pick them up, or send a pre-paid envelope, plus a letter saying we didn't owe anything. Soon did they trick :rotfl:
