Workng Tax Credit 'Do I Qualify' query

I am self employed and thinking of moving in with my fiancee. She is currently on working tax credit and works 16 hrs a week. I am on a low income so we would have to claim WTC jointly.
For some reason when we put our circumstances in with her being the claimant the outcome is double to when I am the claimant. Same joint income and exactly the same circumstances. Is there any reason for this? She is on DLA but that was put in on both estimates.
